2. Personal Data

2.1

Personal data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person (the “Affected Person“). Examples include name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, age, gender, social security number. There are also special categories of personal data (so-called sensitive data). Under the GDPR such sensitive data pertains to health data or data in connection with criminal proceedings.

For technical reasons, every time you access our website, your browser transmits certain data to our web server. This data is collected exclusively for statistical and technical purposes, for example in order to ensure the smooth running of our service operation. The following data is collected:

Advanced Living Technologies GmbH collects, processes and uses your personal data only when a legal basis in the sense of GDPR exists.

3.1 Legal Obligations – Art 6 para. 1 (c) GDPR

 If Advanced Living Technologies GmbH is subject to a legal obligation on the basis of which the processing of personal data is necessary, then Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR serves as the legal basis.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

3.2 Legitimate Interest – Art 6 Para. 1 (f) GDPR

Our website uses Google Analytics. This is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. Google Analytics uses cookies. These cookies will collect your IP address. If possible, your IP addresses will be shortened before saving or analysis and thereby anonymized. This happens within the European Union or within the European Economic Area. In exceptional cases, however, your IP address will be transmitted to a Google server in the US and anonymized there. If you delete all your cookies at a later date, it is necessary to perform the opt-out process again; this also applies if you visit this website from other computers. To optimize our website in terms of system performance, usability and providing useful information about our services, the website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. 5. Transfer of Data to Third-Parties

Due to today’s complexity of certain data processing processes, it has become essential for us to provide certain services with the assistance of third parties. For this we use external service providers (e.g. for webhosting, our IT systems and our web shop) where your data is provided for this purpose. These service providers are processors in the sense of the GDPR, which have contractually agreed to keep your data confidential and to process your data only as part of their service provision.

5.2

If applicable, the potential recipient of your personal data may be located outside the European Union or processes your personal data there. The level of data protection in other countries may not be the same as that of Austria. However, Advanced Living Technologies GmbH only transmits your personal data to countries for which the EU Commission has decided that they have an adequate level of data protection or we take measures to ensure that all recipients have an adequate level of data protection, which we ensure through standard contractual clauses (2010/87 / EC and / or 2004/915 / EC).

6. Storage of Data

 The data will be processed as long as it is necessary to fulfill our legal obligations and to avert any possible liability claims. We will ensure that your personal information is safeguarded for the entire period in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

As the Affected Person, you have the right at any time to obtain information about your stored personal data, its origin and the recipient as well as the purpose of the data processing. You also have the right to correct and transmit your data and, if necessary, to object to, restrict the processing of or deleting of processed data.

If you believe that the processing of your personal data by Advanced Living Technologies GmbH violates the applicable data protection law or your data protection claims have been violated in another way, you may file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Malta, the Data Protection Commissioner is responsible.

8. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy as necessary, for example due to technical developments or legal changes, or to update it in connection with the offer of new services or products. The updated Privacy Policy will be published on our website. Please check the relevant page regularly.
